Daslight 4 Midi<>DMX Note On/Off not working correctly

Post by tad1214 »

Hello

Currently I have Ableton Live 10 setup to send midi to loopMIDI.

loopMIDI receives the max velocity of the note at 127, and then the note stops playing.

When I map this in Daslight 4 to a channel, it goes to DMX value of 255 when it hits MIDI velocity 127, and then DMX value of 128, when the note ends.

How do I map this so when the note stops playing the value goes to 0?

Hello

Currently there is a bug in MIDI mapping where you are unable to set maximum values for faders. E.g, just like you are experiencing, when you select 127, but adjust the fader, it goes to 255.

To set the scene to stop when the value reaches '0', Simply change the off value '0'.

You may also wish to toggle "Enable Note Off and velocity/value 0" (the software will only listen to note off messages and messages containing value 0 if this is checked).

Kind Regards
