Mouse can't control faders and color-palettes

Post by monster »

Hi, has anyone have a advice:

In show mode i cannot move faders or set the color/intensity in the palette with the mouse.

The mouse-pointer is always jumping back to zero.

Strange enough, it works just fine with the master fader (only there).

Everything was working fine and than started to behave that strange.

Any idea?

Okay, I don't know why this happened, but first thing I tried is reinstalling the daslight software. It did not helped, the problem was still present. Than I found out, that when reinstalling daslight, the order called "common" was not overwritten. It was stamped with a date of two days before. Than I deleted manually the hole daslight folder from our system and did a new install of the software. Now everything works like before, as it should do!

How ever, could be an advise for someone else having this kind of problem.

Cheers,

No problem for sharing.

That all was very strange. At one point our light installation started flickering. With daslight as well in stand alone mode. It took me some time until I found out that one of our led moving lights was triggering this behavior. Disconnecting that lamp we have been able to use the stand alone mode, but when trying to use the software, we had that broken mouse behavior.

The rest of the story... See above.

Cheers,
