Crossfade within protected group

Hi we have a setup with spots that are managed separately to our other fixtures so that we don't turn them off when we change from low lighting FOH to full beam everywhere FOH.

I have set the group with the spots in it as protect from release, because I don't want any preset in any OTHER group to turn it off but is there a way to crossfade between the presets that are all within the SAME release-protected group?

At present we can only cut or click off with fade to black and then click on to fade in from black.

Hello

You can enable the fade feature of each scene and simply set and intro/outro fade like the picture below. Then when you select each scene it will fade into the next one selected.
