Hey, have you tried using the latest Official release last week ?
Your problem should be fixed there. Set all your missing midi settings, save and try reopening your show.

Let me know if this fixes your issue or not.

Yes, i have the new Version!

Unfortunately, it still doesn't work, Daslight loses the Midi Controller after the reboot. Under Settings, it still needs to be re-selected.

I save my show AFTER selected preferred MIDI IN device, close out of Daslight, re-open same show file, and the MIDI preference is cleared out.

Hi everyone,

it seems there is still no fix for this?

I got the same problem everyone else is mentioning here:

1. Connect MIDI device
2. Boot Win10 machine
3. Start daslight4 (latets June 21 release) (load last file option ticked)
4. Tick device checkboxes under MIDI device preferences
5. Save my showfile
6. Re-start daslight 4 while MIDI device is not unplugged
> MIDI device got unticked under MIDI device preferences

Even when i create a new showfile starting from scratch, it is not remembered.

May i send anyone from the team my showfile to have a look at?

Hi there,

I think I have the same issue, or even a little bit more complicatedt:
When i select a MIDI Mapping at an RGB Fixture, for example to the red channel fader, the selection will be lost even after I close the Midi Mapping window.

This is what happens:
1. I do an right-click on the fader of an RGB Fixture -> "Edit MIDI Mapping"
2. I Choose Note On / Off. I use the loopBE Internal Midi Driver. It works with other things like scenes very well.
3. I disable the checkbox "enable feedbacks"
4. I click "ok"
5. When I reopen the midi mapping, there are no checkboxes selected, and everything is empty, as if nothing had happened.

Ist there already a solution for this?
