How do you step through the scenes by pressing say space bar on a keyboard connected to a unit in stand alone mode?

Hey,

You need to set a shortcut on the scene group's next button. This can be done via the button's context menu.
If you want to browse through all your scenes (from all groups), you can set a shortcut on the live next button.

OK, thanks, that helps a lot!
So then I can just bring the DVC4 Gold and connect it to a computer keyboard through it's mini USB and step through the scenes?

Oh I must have misread your post... I'm sorry about that. I had missed the part where you mentionned you wanted this in Stand-Alone mode. I'm afraid the keyboard won't do in this mode. It's only a LIVE feature.
