Live scanner pan / tilt invert change

Hi all,

I know you can invert pan / tilt when setting up fixtures but I wonder if the following is possible:

For example, I have 12 scanners, set-up in 2 groups of 6 fixtures. Group one on DMX address A and group two on DMX address B.

I create a scene where I have all fixtures in the two groups pan up and down or left and right in the same direction at the same time. So, each step makes all he scans do the same in the same direction. Is there a possibility to add 2 buttons in the live mode that I can map to invert pan or tilt all fixtures on DMX address B so with a push on the button I can make the fixtures in group B do the inverse movement of the fixtures in group A?

That would make a very nice feature for scanner scenes

I'm afraid we haven't planned on adding new features to Daslight4. This though is an interesting idea that I'll add into our list of ideas for future softwares.

I need the ability to do a software invert pan/tilt after patch. Would like to just be able to select the patch and invert it (pan or tilt).
Now everything on that light patch should be flipped. This should def be moved up the priority list IMO.

Seeing now that I'm replying to an older post...maybe this is in the software. Anyone give me an idea on how I can invert the pan/tilt after a patch?

Hello,

You always can invert pan/tilt after patch using the patch list view in Daslight4. What the topic is about would be a LIVE button that could perform this invertion while the show is running.

So in case you would just want to invert pan/tilt once and for all on your fixture, you can do it through this feature :

That does help, and I eventually came across the fix. Wasn't intuitive from the graphical '512 view'. Maybe a right click could be added on the patch to provide the same functionality that is present on the 'list view'?

But I am able to move forward now. Thanks for the reply.

Invert pan or tilt in a scene - that's what I was looking for. Is this feasible in a udate?
I have version jan 13 2020 1.10.5.
