Color Effects Generator Only Controlling Dimmer

Hello,

I have a DVC4 Gold and using DasLight4. I have patched in (6) Elation ESpot III (20ch mode) fixtures.

When I attempt to add a color effect either by the pixel or matrix effect, it only controls the dimmer channel of the fixtures, not the color channel. I'm guessing this is because it's mapped incorrectly in the fixture profile... but the fixture selection area shows dimmers changing, not colors, which makes me think it's a different setting.

Hello rtucknott,

Probably because the fixture does not have channels for RGB colours mixing, but a colour wheel.
With a Curve effect on channel 5, it seems possible to make a colour chase, for example with the phasing value.
However, quick effects depend on the actual speed of the colour wheel.
