Fade time sound 2 light

Hi!
is there a way to have the software finish the last step before the next one starts when working when working with sound 2 light? My scanners have 2 positions up and down. They just move around hysterically in the middle since they are always missing the pulse. they never reach their positions. Can I ignore pulses if the last step hasn't finished? Reducing the sensitivity didn't help they barely move then.
