2018-05-24-001_Bug - Scene dimmer

Hi,

Strange things. New bug ?
In version 2017-12-18, the scene dimmer uses the selected dimmer channels in Patch.
However, in version 2018-05-24, it now uses the selected FADE channels in Patch. Why ? This is not logical.
Furthermore, a show previously created is no longer compatible with the new beta...!

It was hard to explain to my customer why the show file did not work as expected, and why the rehearsal had to be postponed later. Thanks Daslight.

Hi,

Here is a show file with the issue.
It works fine in the latest public version (Dec 18 2017) but no longer in the latest beta (May 24 2018).

The scene dimmer in Live used the DIMMER parameters in Patch, but now it uses the FADE param.

Here, the fade parameter is not selected in Patch, so the show does not work fine with the latest beta.
Show files are no more compatible across releases.

The scene dimmer should go on using the Dimmer parameter, not the Fade.

Just to make sure, are you talking about this dimmer/fade bug ? Or did you have a hard time opening your old showfiles ?

I mean compatibility about this dimmer/fade bug only.
No other issue found at present.
