Text resizing

Post by [email protected] »

Hello,

Recently, I installed the Daslight 4 software on my WINDOWS Surface Pro 4 tablet PC.
Due to the small size of the text (and the quite small screen size of my Surface Pro 4 tablet), it is realy hard to use your software.
Could somebody of the support team tell me if it is possible to expand the size of the text (menu's, fixtures ...) so that I can read more easily the words showed on the screen.

In advance, thanks a lot.

Hello,

Sorry, this has not been implemented in the software. This is one of the things we have decided to change for next versions of our products (starting with next Daslight).

Regards,
TomHat

Hello TomHat,

I think that I found the reason of my issue.
The standard definition of the window of my MICROSOFT Surface Pro 4 is 2736 x 1824 pixels.
After down sizing it to 1920 x 1200 pixels, I could read comfortably the text of the DASLIGHT 4 software.

Thanks a lot for your support.

Hello TomHat,

Do the below instruction using your Microsoft Surface Pro:

1. Keep the default Microsoft Surface Pro Windows resoution 2736x1824

2. Right Click on the Daslight4 icon -> select "Properties"
3. After the new Window appear -> select "Compatibility" tab, then select -> "Change High DPI settings"
4. New Window will appear - put check on "Program DPI, then use the DPI that's blah blah "I open this program", then
put check on High DPI scalling overide & select "System or System(enhance).

Try it.

Thanks a lot @summer :) This was a very nice and easy solution that i didn't come up with by myself. I had the problem even worse with my surface book 2 (267 dpi).
