Touch screen issue

Post by cobalt2 »

I still have a huge latency problem with touch screens. I have two different computers with two different touch screens.

Same effect on both. One second latency on buttons in show mode, or any mode for that matter.
And a 4 to 5 second latency to switch bettween modes or pages.

really anoying when you need to react on cue with the music.

Could you look into it ?

BTW, if I disconnect the USB port of the screen and use a mouse, the latency desapears...

Thanks

I had the same problem with my elo touch screen. Apparently daslight has problems with multi touch drivers. When I installed the elo multi touch driver, I had exactly the same problems you describe. Thankfully, Elo also offers a single-touch driver that only simulates the mouse, and does not enable any additional features in windows, which resolved the issues.
Check if there are other simpler drivers available for your touch screen.

THANKS

Finally found it!!! DL4 can be operated on an external touchscreen.

However, most devices (dongles) will go crazy when connected to a touchscreen that uses a double touch or multiple touch input. Even the support people of my touch screen manufacturer didn’t knew this. Double touch is commen used on a windows 10 OS and is plug & play. So you need other drivers that change the double touch – input to a single. I used ELO an dit works.

So, a touch screen and using a mouse doubles the fun!!!
