Hey,
This means that you've been trying to perform an update on a closed device. Could it be that something happened during the firmware update that could have disconnected your interface ?
I'm thinking your USB cable might have been moved (even a little), or you could have tried to open Daslight during update maybe ?
Basically you should eb able to try updating again with only HardwareManager opened, and it should work fine.
