Daslight 4 Adjust a scene

Post by DjT »

I have made differnt chases with daslight 4 for my movingheads, but when i’m on location it can be so that i need to adjudt some things, like how high or how wide the move.
Can I adjust this in a allready made chase?? Or do i need to make a complete new one.

Also a question,
I can choose a new color in (for example) the rainbow effect by pressing the “+” but how can i delete some colours??

Thanks for the help, very happy user!

Hi,

To remove a colour, a "Delete" option should appear when you right click on it.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Beeing able to adjust a "movement only" scene is something we're requesting since some time, because we're facing this issue very often, but i think not possible in DS4.

As a good workaround, you have this trick working well ;
- When you create your movement effect for the first time (or any other effect), save it clicking the small save button (see screenshot) and name it in the pop-up window.
- Then, when you want to use the same effect but adjust it a bit, you need to create a new scene and open the effect you saved to recall it. You can change effect parameters (like positions to enlarge them etc...) and then hit Generate.
- You get the same effect but adjusted in a new scene ;-)

(you can also directly open the effect and check "New Scene" to create the effect directly in a new scene without having to create a new scene yourself before recalling the effect...)

Blue is the Color !

Is this also on a Macbook? I'm not getting any 'Delete' option. I have seen the help videos and they say how to,....
but that does not work.

Thanks for the reply,
