Hi,
I've got strange things with the matrix effect generator.
All fixtures inside the matrix pattern are included in the generated effect, even the fixtures which are not selected.
In my opinion, only the fixtures that are selected should be processed and the others ignored.
Only the fixtures of "Inter Bleu 2" were selected for the effect generation but the fixtures of "Inter Bleu 1" are also included in the effect and it's not what is meant to be.

Re: Bug ? Matrix effect
Hey Pol,
Well this seems to be a bug. I think you should be able to only generate an effect on the selected fixtures, without affecting other fixtures.
I'll add this to our list of things to fix for next beta version.
Thanks for reporting.

Re: Bug ? Matrix effect
Hi,
My ref for this issue is 2017-12-18_001.
Two fixtures (#1 + #2) are selected before adding a Matrix effect.
First, when the matrix pattern appears, all fixtures are automatically deselected.
They are selected again with the group button but the effect is applied to #3 also, and it should not.
This issue is very annoying. Example : apply the effect at once on the fixtures stage right and stage left, but not on those in the middle. The matrix pattern will be over all fixtures, it's inevitable.

Re: Bug ? Matrix effect
Actually, my mistake. Matrix effects are applied on the rectangle and all devices placed underneath it. If you want to apply a specific effect on a selection of beams, Pixel effects can do this job better.
I'm still keeping this task up for next Beta, but I'll hear with the team if we should make it happen.
