DMX pult mapping not working

Hi,

I have spend 1 day of mapping of single DMX address/channel with DVC4 and initially it was working perfectly.
but after restart of my laptop once I connect DMX pult is not reacting anymore - when I am in the mapping mode and I am changing the channel I can see the respective channel is getting changed in DVC4. but when I go to Live mode and change the channel value is not getting changed in DVC4? I have found a video in youtube showing similar behavior for scenes and it seems to be a bug in DVC4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dGZ0J51K6w.

what I have notice as well is, after I mapped DVC4 with DMX and reopen DVC4, check box DMX in mapping is selected and in DMX channel value you get the value of DMX channel added to itself?! - please refer to the foto.
if you want I can share with you as well the DVC file containing the patching.

how I can get my DMX pult working?

Hey,

In the video, you can see the user is using HardwareManager and Daslight4 at the same time. Once HardwareMakager is started, it takes ownership of the DVC interface, and Daslight4 should not longer be able to receive any signal from the interface until HardwareManager closes.
Please make sure your interface is recognized by the software and "activated" in the preference window.

I wouldn't be too worried about that, this sounds a lot like a display bug that shouldn't be the problem we're looking for here.

Please, sent me your showfile (in a zip file, as an attachment to your next reply) so I can get some tests made on it.

Sorry it took me this long to get back to you. I've gotten feedback about the testnig onf your file, and turns out they couldn't reproduce with the latest version of Daslight4 available on our website. Which version are you using ?

I am using Dec 22 2017 (please see the attached file) on MAC with High Sierra 10.13.3 Pult Eurolite DMX Move Control 512.

Is it possible that you created this show with an older version of Daslight 4 ?
Do you have the possibility to test these same DMX triggering settings on a new show ?
