Daslight 4 crash

Hi guys currently running Daslight 4 official latest version from the website. (15/05/2017) working on Windows PC also on windows 7 and windows 10.

The problem is when I'm programming, the software itself is closed.

It only happens until now with the fixture: ADJ Sweeper Beam Quad LED.

It happens without any crash notification.
The problem also occurs in Daslight 3, Official Version.

Can someone help me with this?

Please download the latest Beta available on the website. This version contains loads of fixes for problems found since May.

Let us know if that fixed your problem.

thnks for the idea, but it did not work.

I have 2 test shows. 1 with the ADJ Sweepers. 1 with other fixtures. they both hold. both when I want to start programming Pan / Tilt. Do not get a crash report. software is shut down and more not. have tried it even in the last BETA version. problem still occurs.

Does anyone have any tips or ideas?

I can reproduce your problem - but the system shutdown happenend not in any case.
I generated some scenes - it works well.
The problem occurs when I changened the value channel 2 and 3 during the pan/tilt effect generator is running.
Sometimes it works sometimes it shuts down - may be there is a conflict between the movement activated by the movement macro (ch2/ch3) and the effect generator.
I build six scenes in two groups - it works well - but I didn´t touched the fader ch2 and 3

It seems the same probleem i have.

But, i'd like to use the pan tilt of the fixture. I do not think it's an option to use ch 2 and ch 3. I use the fixture in mode4. In the 32ch mode I believe.

so what should be a solution?

Is it more in the software or could it be in the fixture?

Hi Marc,

I´m not sure if I understood your problem corretly.
I found the ADJ quad beam manual - 4 modes are available - 1ch/6ch/35ch/39ch mode
You are using mode 4 (39ch) - it´s the only mode which makes sence for these fixture.
There are two ways to programm a tilt movement: 1. the internal (7) macros (ch2) / different move angles. (ch3) motion speed.
2. using the effect generator of daslight/pan tilt "line" - motion speed controlled by time value - ore later on in live mode with the speed fader. In my case it´s the most convenient way to do a movement (any angle/ any speed).
I did the programming in both ways - no problem occurs.
Only the combination of macro AND effect generator is running in a problem.
I´m using the same ADJ sweeper (white color) I got no problems until now.
