Midi controller for Daslight 4 OS + some questions & suggestions

Hello guys,

I am new to the forum and for a project I am looking for a good midi controller to use with Daslight 4.
I run the software on a Macbook Pro and I am looking for a controller to use for programming (faders) and to have enough launch buttons for all the programs I would like to create.
For now my eye has caught the APC-40 MK1 controller which seems to have it all.
What I would like to know is if this controller has build in midi banks.
With this I mean if it is possible to assign the 8 faders multiple times according to each layer the controller has?
Because I do not see an indicator on the controller which shows in which possible layer you are working I assume it is not build in and therefore I can use the 8 faders only one time.
Also I am missing or I haven't discovered how to do create combinations of buttons which would be a very good addition to the midi control section.
For instance activating a specific button to change the behaviour of a different button.
With other words a sort of shift key.
Is this possible, until now I haven't discovered how to do this, and I know other kind of software that work with midi have this feature.
This would also make every controller which doesn't have it's own build in layer system worth 100x more in the software.
Also it would be great if the software could work with encoders which can be mapped, this is for me a reason to buy a different controller than the one that I have and of which I can't use the encoders.

Hi,

This is a very good question, is there a possibility to use to buttons for one scene ?
To be abel to use, like a schift knob on your midi controller.
The link from Macarena doesn't work any more
I'm also working with Daslight 4 on mac with DVC fun and Novation Mini pad

hello,

does anyone now the numbers for each color ( to change the buttons on a akai apc mini )
for example number 3 and the button turns red but the rest of the colors like blue en stuff????
