I would like to activate multple scenes at one time using one button. I guess the only way to do this is adding a button in the Show tab and associate the scenes to it.
How can I add a midi trigger to this show button? or is there also another way to archive this?
How to assign a MIDI trigger to a show button? (triggering multple scenes)
Re: How to assign a MIDI trigger to a show button?
Hey,
You can assign a midi control to several scene buttons directly from Edit mode, that way all scenes can be triggered at once.
First select the scene you want to edit, and click the MIDI button:
You'll see the Midi Editing dialog appear. There you can either:
- set by hand the right Midi control you wish to assign
- or play with the Midi console's control (the dialog should be filled autimatically as the software receives the midi signals)
Do this for all scenes you wish to trigger with your Midi control. Of course, you could set all scenes to the same Midi Control if you wish to trigger them all at once.
Hope this helps.

Re: How to assign a MIDI trigger to a show button? (triggering multple scenes)
Hi TomHat,
Thank you very much for your quick reply.
I know that it is possible to directly assign a MIDI trigger to a scene, but I guess a scene can only have one MIDI trigger assigned... So using it this way the scene cannot be assigned to other midi buttons anymore.
I actually was looking for a cue-list-button to trigger multiple scenes, to organize scenes (like colours and pan/tilt moves) into cue-lists and trigger them using one (MIDI) button. However in the meanwhile I did some search on the internet and found out that I can use the Scene "Jump to" functionality to 'simulate' a cue-list-button.
Thanks for your help anyway! Highly appreciated.
