Hi,
(a)
On a channel that contains several presets, the internal fader always moves from 0 to 255, going through all the presets, whatever they are.
However, when this channel is assigned to MIDI, the MIDI fader range is that of the current preset.
E.g. the channel has 2 presets : shutter closed (0 to 127) and shutter open (128 to 255).
The MIDI fader always stays within a range, either 0 to 127 or 128 to 255, depending on the current preset (but never from 0 to 255). The internal fader always goes from 0 to 255.
Is this intentional or a bug ?
In my opinion, the internal fader should have the same behaviour as MIDI (staying within the current preset).
I think there is no reason to these different behaviours.
(b)
When moving the MIDI fader, the current preset resets to the first one, from time to time, without any reason.
