FX generator problem in general onglet with spot moving head fixtures

Post by 10centimes »

When i am generating a curve dimming effect in the general strip (to combine fixtures) it doesn't generate with my phantom 75 spot (showtec) and my Mac krypton 250 (Martin^^), works fine with Mac 250 wash and Par LED. Can someone helps me?

Thx in advance.

P.S: I'm not able to join my dvc show and i'm using daslight beta 1st august

I've got a show to create with the first on the 10th of september; as Daslight 3, the 4 is still not able to combine differents effects on differents fixtures, for now i managed to create only 3 songs on 15 (and not even completely) in 2 nights work, i'm starting to get desperated.
Now i'm screwed, plz help...

P.S: sorry for the english i'm French...

Hey 10centimes,

What bugs and crashes are we talking about exactly ? Could you describe the way to reproduce them (all of them if possible) so that we can try to fix them before your deadline ? We will really need your showfile so you could put it into a zip file and send it to me via PM if you don't mind.

Regards,

It's no problem, we understand how frustrating it can be to stumble on a crash/bug. As I said, we'll try to get those fixed ASAP. Just let us know what the problems you've met are.

Ok i'm not at work right now so i can't send my show file yet, but the problem that i'm talking about can be seen with any show and any fixture apparently (maybe there's something that i'm doing wrong):
-in general tab the curve effect won't be working if i'm only checking the all-dimmer box.

For example for colorbar i need to have the rgb boxes checked or for a moving head it won't work if at least one of the pan or tilt box is checked.

It's not a combinating problem by doing several effect.

I trying with the official version, but i'm quite sure it did the same with the beta one.

Alright, for the dimmer problem : have you tried turning all fixtures beam on before generating the effects ? Here is what you might need to do ->

1 -> Beam on
2 -> include set levels ( to include the dimmer's current level in your generated effect )

Hope this helped !

Yes of course^^, can u tell me if you have the same problem?
When i create the effect it works, it's when i generate it that it doesn't: only 1 step is created with a wait time as long as the effect time overall.

thx.

precision on the bug:

-doesn't work with Showtec phantom 75 LED and Martin mac 250 krypton if i don't check pan or tilt boxes.

-with sunstips in general tab the curve effect is not working at all even with all the boxes checked.

-works with Martin Atomic 3000

-works with Martin mac 250 wash

-works with Contest IRLed64-18x3tcsb

hope that helps.
