One bug, one feature request

Post by sultanII »

Hello guys!

Bug:
Yesterday I used my daslight fun first in "real" (birthday party). I had created a scene with a red-yellow slow fade for ambient lightning in the beginning before and it worked fine for testing purposes. But: I wanted to run this scene for 1 or 2 hours but after a while without interacting with daslight (neither midi nor with mouse etc.) the scene changed to another scene. Does anybody have an explanation? (scene was marked as "endless loop" running in live mode).

Feature request:
Midi input mapping for global blackout in live mode.

Thanks for your support.

Hey sultanII,

Midi input mapping for global blackout in live mode.

You should be able to map shortcuts such as this one in the "Preferences" window, "Shortcuts" tab.
Hope this helps !

Thank you for reporting this bug. We'll look into it. Could you please send us your show file for tests ?

Regards,
TomHat

Thanks for your answer.

I exspected the feature in the context menu so I just didn't find it.

Now I've tried to assign a midi key to the blackout function but it doesn't work... (There's no error when mapping but I can't see any reaction on screen nor at the lights. It just works with mouse click...)

Any ideas?

(I'm using M-Audio Trigger Finger via USB as Midi Device and running version Mar 11 2016)

Hi

Can you post a screenshot of your midi triggering options ?

Hum

Did you edited the values ? it's weird that the controller sends a Note On with velocity 3, normally it's 127...

No editing... I hit the key very soft. :) The value varys of course... the harder I hit the pad, the higher the value. In this case of use velocitiy is not necessary, but it should work independent from this?! :?:

EDIT: Related to your post I switched trigger finger to full velocity mode - seems to be the workaround. :D

Hi again,
I'd some problems with my login and resetting password... but now I'm back. :)

Could you make any findings in the "switching"-bug?
