I have loaded a test Android system, it has LAN, downloaded Easy Remote, its installed, however it says it wont run unless it has WiFi.
I have a LAN cable plugged in, the app still wont work.... is this a bug?
Many Thanks

Hi
I asked the team, they never heard of something like that. What device do you use ? How does it connect to the LAN: is it integrated in the device itself or is it an additional module ?

Re: BUG (easy remote on Android doesnt work on LAN)
We have a VMWare virtual machine running android, however all the GrandStream phones are LAN as well they all run Android with the same problem (they also have a LAN port).
All devices can open GooglePlay and download the app as they have LAN IP address, however as WiFi is off the app fails with it cant find a network (appears the app is asking android for WiFi not just IP address).
DropBox works (doesnt need WiFi) so i assume this is an App related issue (somehow).
Related to this post (http://www.daslight.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2256&p=7838#p7838) we are going to look at NanoPi2 to run android over LAN and get a 2Gang touch screen designed and made for standard North America wall mounting (powered over POE).
