Midi-Preferences Problem

Post by Dr. Midi »

Hi, folks!

I am using different midi interfaces for different applications.
As you can see in the file below, there is bug in the visibility of the midi preferences.
You cannot select and deselect all midiports because some are covered by others. And that exactly causes crashes of daslight.

Please fix that urgently. Or are there some hints how to change that, or another workaround?

Greetings,
Olaf

That would be nice, JP!

Another point is, it would be great being able to exclude several midiports from daslight durable, even in situations new ports are availabe on the pc. At the moment, new coming ports are activated automaticly. I think it would be better to have them disabled in daslight as long as the user wants to activate them. Otherwise those ports - for example controlled by another unit - could affect daslight unintensionally.

Hi Olaf

What I can do is only activate the midi device that were connected at the startup of the software and let the user decide to active the other devices. Would that be good ?
