Single color beams : how ?

Post by PolDavril »

Hi,

In the case of a multi RGB beams device (I mean a fixture with independant red, green and blue beams, never mixed into a composite color).
Example : JB Systems Quadra Beam.

I created a sample ssl2 (here attached) to handle the individual RGB beams.
With such a device, it's not correct to use a true RGB color mixing in Daslight as composite colors cannot be produced.

The Daslight view does not reflect the progressive values of the 3 color faders. It's either black or the maximum color, whatever the fader value is from 1 to 255.
Do I miss something or is there a bug ?

Hi again

The best right now is to define three "Extra Colors" which goes from black to your defined color.
The icon on top of the faders will be ok but you won't see the real values in the fixture view we'll look into it...
