Matrix patching
In DVC3 there was an option to patch fixtures in an matrix setup and also create cool matrix effects in the fx generator. I can't find both of these features in DVC4 however... Is this feature still included, and if it is so, where can I find it???

yes those features are not were they used to be... Regarding the matrix, you can patch the fixtures normally and arrange them in a square matrix automatically. More advanced matrix positionning is under development though..
For the effect part, you can go in the controllers tabs, there is the faders, the palettes and then the effects. You can, create various effects here with the 4 icons on the right. The last one can be used to create matrix effects. You will see a rect with the effect playing in it that you can resize/move as you want on top of your patched fixtures
