INSTALATION ISSUE

I have downloaded and installed DVC4. I already have DVC3 on the same PC. When I try to launch DVC4 I get the following message.
C:\daslight virtual controller 4 Beta\daslight virtual controller 4\DVC4.EXE

the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more details.

what do I need to do?

Hi David, this is strange we have not has any other reports regarding this problem, please could you try downloading and reinstalling to see if that solves the problem? kind reagards

Hi Benno.
I have uninstalled and re installed and still have the same problem.
Here is some more information.
The software is installed on my laptop running Vista.
intel core2 duo. 32 bit system.

which is not supported by this version of Windows.

I think that's the problem. Maybe DVC4 works only for Windows7+

Thought that may be the case when I read the system report.
looks like its time for a new laptop
