When will it be possible to upgrade my DVC2GZM to a new DVC3GZM for use with Virtual Controller 4?

And what is the price for this upgrade?

(Now I have different units DVC2GZM and DVC3GZM, and I want to be prepared for the new version 4)

I think, you can upgrade for free the GZM. I see this last time. The upgrade is avaible on january.

Why in the transition between DCV2 and DCv3 all the old hardware were compatible and in this case no?
I hoped that, given how much it cost, it was at least DVC3 Gold.
