Virtual Controller 3 does not start - crash message

Hi,

after many problems to install the driver for my DVC3GOLD USB-DMX Interface I have also
problems to start the Virtual Controller 3 (Win XP Pro, SP3)

When I Start Virtual Controller3, I can select USB device. If I click on OK there is a crash message coming up. (see attachment)

What can I do to startup the Controller?
