Dpad gold not activating scenes properly

Hi,

We were testing out using a dpad gold to operate some moving heads.

When I generate a scene, using the dpad as a controller the scene plays on the lights work fine.
I save the same scene to the dpad, disconnect the computer and try running the dpad on its own, and it doesn't work.
The saved scenes show up, the heads move in the programmed pattern but there is no light.

After I tried deleting and re-saving the scenes the lights won't even move.

Any advice?

This has been updated to the latest firmware(2016 apparently).

Also, the dimmer goes from 0% to 200%, is this normal?
