problem with dmx in

if i connect my dmx board daslight isnt responding to the signal i send out while the signal does show up if i test it withe the tools app

any tips for me ?

make sure you have dmx input selected under options

I will have the developers look into this on Monday.

I cannot reproduce this. select tools->interface

click the + icon and make sure the input 1 is selected under one of the sockets

are you using the latest version?
did it work in a previous version?

wel it worked with the vertion of december 2010
whit the latest it doesnt
could be the cp (it was reseted cinse it last worked )

on my vista it seems to work (most of the time)

There seems to be a problem with the GZM and DMXIN in the latest build. I've e-mailed you a new build to test.

i cant run the exe :
can not locate.

This application has failed to start because DLLOem.ddl can not be found.

thats because you ened to put it in the right folder, it is not an installation file, it is the Daslight application.

hey.
ihave the same problem.
i use 2dmx out and 1dmx in.
with the version dec2010 everything works fine, now i did made a update to may2011 and the dmx in is not working at all anymore.
if i use the test tool the dmx in works, but not in the main programm.
i need urgentlyx a help cause i have tomorrow party.

you need to swap the curent dvc 2 ap in the folder with a new one i can mail it to you if you pm me your e mail or you ask simon B to do so.

The Daslight program doesn't work with all DMX sources.
I have the same problem. I sent my interface to be tested by Daslight. Unfortunately DVC doesn't work with other pc based consoles.
While the viz is artnet compatible the DVC isn't, which is a shame!
My interface will recieve dmx in, however the DVC program won't due to a software conflict.
If you're using another pc based console and wing you need to run it separate to Daslight.

Hello,

got a same problem here, on tools every thing is working fine, i slide my fader and i see a signal coming in.

but if i use the program, and adres a fader like nothing happens, i tryed alot of things but it doenst work, i instaled the latest update of tools.

could somebody help me ?

a other problem is, that as i set fader 1 in universe 1 the input to universe 2 and out to universe 1, and then klik on adjust or ok , and i klik on it again the settings are back to default.

and a nother thing, where is the manuel for DMX-in on this forum ?
