DVC4 GZM networking

Post by Aznable »

Network A: Home
Network B: location of the DVC.

From what i can understand the DVC has the ability to transmit code via an ethernet cable as long as it is connected to the network the programming computer is in(A). However, is it possible to connect to a DVC that is on a separate network (B) via the internet? Based on my knowledge of networking it should be able to.

Hi Aznable,

Unfortunately this is not possible as the interface needs to be connected to the same local network that the computer running Daslight is on for the device to be detected by the software.
