Hi all, I am just using a Fun for the first time, and I get a message saying that I can only use the software offline for 48 days? What does this mean? I want to install the Fun on a lighting project as a standalone controller...does this mean it will stop working after 48 days?

Hi Archerboy2017,
The DVC FUN uses our SUT technology which allows the device to be upgraded, however if you want to use the interface with Daslight 4 in Live Mode then it needs to be periodically synchronized via the internet (every 1080 hours of use). If you do not connect the device to the internet and the time runs out the software will enter demo mode (no DMX output). The remaining offline time is reset to 1080 hours when your computer is connected to the internet.
However this will not effect you if you want to write Scenes to the interface and use the device in Stand Alone Mode as it does not require a internet connection.
