Stand Alone - not possible to read/rewrite Memory

Post by avald »

We have new DVC4 Gold equipment, but there might be a problem with the device.
It was possible to delete the memory via the "Stand alone" Menue, but
- "write" is blanked out
- if i press "read" it says "check device, reading not possible"
- "test" does last forever so that we don't get any result.

What should I try?
Thank you in advance

First please can I check you are using the latest Daslight 4 release (12.16 links below)
http://www.daslight.com/download.htm
- "write" is blanked out
Have you clicked and dragged your scenes on to the device as per attached image? The Write button will not be activated until there are Scenes ready to be written to the device.
- if i press "read" it says "check device, reading not possible"
You mentioned above you have deleted the memory from your device? If there is nothing stored on the device that message will appear.
- "test" does last forever so that we don't get any result.
The Test button puts the device into Stand Alone mode so you can test scenes stored onto the device in Stand Alone. It will continue testing the memory until you click stop.

Please below for a link to the Stand Alone section of the user manual which may help.
