Run the ScanLibrary Editor and create a 1 channel dimmer.
You can then add as many of these as you like to match the number of dimmer channels you have.

The reason I said to amke a 1 channel dimmer fixture is that I think Scanlibrary Editoe does not like multiple (dimmer) channels in one fixture.

You could also just create a fixture with the number of channels you require and make them all "Free" and set the parameters from 0 - 255 or set various levels for each channel to make it easier to select.

Here is a 12 Channel Dimmer as an example.

When in ScanLibrary and you try to save it it warns you about a beam problem. It is OK though.

Forgot to say no beams will appear in the Visualiser.

If you want beams to appear then if you dimmer pack is connecting to PAR Cans then patch Par Cans to each channel that you use instead of the dimmer.

Ignore all my previous posts, just patch Par Cans for each of the 4 channels on this dimmer.

The Par Cans can be found in the _Generic folder

I'm wondering if the nature of your question had to do with the interface protocol (Micro-plex, or "MPX" versus the DMX protocol that DasLight uses). If so, you'll need to convert the DMX data stream to MPX in order to get your ND-4600 to respond properly. There is a device on the market called "DMX-lator" that will convert an incoming DMX-512 data stream to MPX. It works for NSI dimmer packs as well as those from James Lighting (MUX-64), Lightronix (LMX), SunnSpots Sunn-plex, ETA Ultraplex, and other Micro-plex compatible dimmers. The company, "DMX-Tools Co." sells this device in a number of different versions, depending on what type of dimmer pack you have and whether you're converting from or to DMX. They distribute on e-bay (just search for "DMX-later". and their website is http://www.dmx-tools.com/

Thanks very much for that very useful information. I forget sometimes that not all lighting fixture use DMX.
