DVC2 crahes after update

Hello,
two weeks ago, I realized that we were using a three years old Version of DVC2. So I updated it to the latest Version in hope for new features etc.
But now the Software crashes very often. I can still use the faders on our DMX console for controlling the fixtures but that are not all of our fixtures. After that I can just close it and start it again. But than all lamps turn off.
It happens really often (ca. every hour) and I don't know what to do.
We are using a SIUDI5 DVC2 GOLD 2006 Interface and Windows XP. Is it possible that I have to update the Interface or the driver?
