Multiple scenes to a single port?

Post by shefdrummer »

Hi there - I'm trying to use the Ryger USB-DNX with daslight and don't seem to be able to assign more than one scene to a port (and hence a button on the Ryger unit).

I have a mix of LED par cans, scanners and moving heads and so have split each fixture type into a group and then created scenes for that fixture. FOr example one scene in the PAR cans group for blackout of the pars and a similar scene in the moving heads group.

Now I can trigger more than one scene in the software but when I assign the same port so that one buttion will trigger all blackout scene, only one fixture moves..

So am I limited to a single scene per port and if so I assume the best way is to control all fixture simultaneously from one scene?

Long post but hopefully you get the picture!

it should be possible to trigger 2 scenes from 1 port (I've just tested and it works fine for me). You just need to make sure that the release mode is set to off, or that the release mode is set to group and the scenes are in different groups
