Similar issue here.
The 3D of Daslight 4 never worked on my computer. It seems that some video cards are incompatible.
However, other 3D simulators do run flawlessly !...

This issue has been reported many times but, unfortunately, the developpers of the 3D tool do not care... Very sad.

As far as I know, Daslight4 software won't work with a DVC3 interface.
A Daslight4 interface is needed.

I cannot reproduce this issue, even with the version Oct 31 2017 you mention.
(Windows version).

Are you sure the master dimmer is at the maximum value in Live ?
This could explain why your scene is dimmed.

Try this : disable the feedback option for all APCmini faders, when you set the MIDI mapping.
The feedback is useless in this case.
