sorry i know that sounded like a pretty lazy post, i have checked the forums and couldnt find anything, i did see one about the usb drivers but didnt help me at all... on both my home comp and the laptop i had installed the daslight demo, so this might affect it, im gonna try and get hold of a compu...

im sure i heard this problem somewhere else but couldnt find it. as you know im looking for a stand alone desk, but i decided to find out how i would use it. i went into the stand alone menu but it says i was using demo mode... luckily i had the disk nearby so I uninstalled the software and re-insta...

ive had the same problem with channel 2 4 and 8 which have cans patched to them. whenever i fade down, the dmx level jumps from 0 to 255 untill the fade has ended. no one at church could find out why or how to solve it...deleted the fixtures and everything. the only solution was to start a whole new...

oh i see, interesting!

i didnt realise that when you have the effect window open and change the dmx levels it automatically saves those levels. it wasnt exactly obvious about it

on the live tab you can create new effects...but what do these actually do that scenes dont?

you can make it start 1 scene... but why not just press that scene? it just seems a waste of space?

this is how i tried fading my lights from on to off: -create a new scene -create a new step -make step one all lights on -make step 2 all lights off -make the fade time two seconds then when clicking on that scene in the live menu for some reason, my lights spaz out when fading off in other words th...

does dvc2 have the ability to link up with a lighting desk? if so how?
