Sadly it isn't possible to edit an effect after it's been generated. So if you want to add a fixture to your scene effect, you will need to either sett all values by hand or generate a new effect intead.

Moving fixtures one at a time on your patch grid should not lose your DMX values. However switching a fixture for another type will result in loss of DMX data for that fixture only.

I'm sorry to say, neither the DVC2 software, nor the DVC2 device model are officially supported any longer.
Maybe this is the perfect time to take a quick look at our latest Daslight 5 software ? Compatible with both Windows x64 and MacOS.
