Answer: you can't. Flip knows why not, you can trigger multiple scenes from a single keyboard key or MIDI event! A scene should be able to trigger any number of scenes, not just jump to a next one. How it would make life so much easier. I know, I'll write a new front end that CAN do this using the D...

Well as per usual the Daslight tech support vanished after one feeble attempt. I couldn't get their sample application to build and run under developer studio on my XP machine and had a similar time using Java and JNA under Vista. The programmers just haven't quite grasped the subtleties of the DLL ...

DaslightRemoteControl.DLL

The DaslightRemoteControl DLL - Does it work under Vista? When one tries to run the sample exe bundled in the zip file, one gets an error saying the side-by-side configuration is incorrect.

We (my band) are doing a video shoot for a song in November complete with lights and lasers, and I'll be playing drums so I can't mess about with lights. I want to set up Daslight to perform a complete song without requiring intervention. The song will involve a number of mood changes and some fairl...

Moving things about in the setup panel
Right, I've just got some new LED parcans and they can only be set up to DMX address 127 (what is this, the frickin' Dark Ages?). So I need to move the scanners which reside at the bottom end of the address space up. Daslight allows you to drag the fixtures in the DMX map on the setup panel. Questio...

I agree: you should be able to prevent fade on a per-channel basis. Otherwise, it becomes a pain to create scenes that move smoothly but change colour or gobo abruptly without cycling through intermediate colours / gobos. Annoy Daslight.
