OK so you have posted this question in DVC2 folder and as far as I am aware Windows 8 is 64 bit not 32 bit.

All the latest DVC3 interfaces are 64 bit.

do you still have the version of the software that was installed on the other computer? or try the latest release, the problem is at the moment the programmers are trying to fix all the bug requests, and sometimes in the process certain functions get affected. As I say try an older version or a newe...

Also a clear set of instructions as to how to link to a network or a laptop would be very benificial as all the info in...

to fade a scene out in the editor screen you need to set the scene fade out in the editor box top ribbon, right click and tick scene fade out. However this will now fade all chanels to zero over a specified time. If you want to fade shutters / dimmers only I suggest you create a new scene in your wi...

I have had this in the past. it is the fact that on the patch you had a fixture patched and reversed the slider for either pan or tilt.

you can either re patch the fixture and try toggling the reverse tick box. or re create your patch for universe 1. then import your show.

the midi comand logically turns on/off the scene, if you need a pulsed toggle you can create a momentary live effect button which will start a nominated scene.

not perfect but a work around.

Simon could this be related to the number of scenes created and the midi flags getting lost? (We had this problem in DVC2 remember)

is the system error possibly related to the amount of USB outlets in use?

if you set the scene hold time to 4 or 5 seconds , then set bpm on scene this will go half way to solving the problem

Hi Simon, yes it would be a good feature, but having worked with MQ the way they do it is to sense which lights in the current scene have shutters/dimmers closed, then thay can be positioned and col / gobo readied for the next scene. As MQ works on an IPBC palett system, this works, not quite sure h...

Move when dark. OK here's one option, in a seperate group which you start at the beginning of your show, create a scene with default positions, ie all facing front and down with shutters closed. in your working group put a fade out (editor page top of scenes ribon option) at the end of your scenes o...
