yeah i have installed daslight i just cant understand why i cant just plug and play and enter the dmx addresses into daslight which are on the fixtures themselves and they just run when i run a scene any ideas? You do not have to patch any fixtures if you do not want, but you will forfeit any of th...

Sorry, what I meant to say is that it goes against the way the profiles are made within the Scan Library editor, therefore it's not like we can make a simple tweak in one of the software packages. Regarding the cross patching, I'm familiar with this as it is all possible in Sunlite Suite however it...

...No it is not possible to do this as it goes against the format of every other fixtures layout... Not quite true simon !!!! Quite a lot of VaryLite fixtures have a seperate dimmer channel (actually the dimmer is often supplied seperately by the user, i.e. it is not part of the fixture). Some soft...

Well, thanks for your answer, but it isn't really amazing. - Fading the time of FadeIn or FadeOut is not the same as Fading the channels/dimmers in or out. ... I'm going to have a look on mouse macros, or have to write a program on my own, to realise my problem. Thanks a lot! I never said it was am...

Could you tell me please how to get a pseudo Master by a speed control? - May this could be adapted to single channels ... Thanks! All I have done, is create a fade out (for the lights that have dimmers or RGB channels) and set the fade time to 10 seconds. Then you can use the Speed Link control to...

Re: F1-F12. BDF2000 control. Submasters Exist really!!!!!
another amazing bonus is that when the software wants to activate the dimmers from within it overrides the slider levels. It does ? Never works for me, only ever uses what is set from the MIDI controller. I will have to have a play, maybe it is to do with the "grouping" control you mentio...

I have spoken to Dave H about this via email but here is a quick synopsis of the result. I got the show and could not find anything wrong with it, all worked as it should. Told Dave and suggested that he might need to go through a un-install, clean up and re-install as possibly something has got cor...

Basically as Simon said use ScanLibrary to create your fixture profile, below is a quick run through. To create a colour scroller it would depend on the actual fixture as I have seen some with multiple channels (a shutter as well as colour control). But assuming it is a single channel, start ScanLib...

Hi James The 3D visualiser is not compatible as a stand-alone application. If you want to visualise programs from your DMX desk, this needs to be done through Daslight by creating a show, patching the relevent fixtures, then selecting the output faders to DMX. The visualiser is misleading in that i...
