You simply need to select the scene and map it to a dry contact port through shortcuts / port mapping and then write to Stand Alone mode.

What DMX interface do you have?

If you have a DVC FUN, as standard it has an express licence which is limited to 32 steps per scene.

It could be that the effects generated exceeds this value, and as a result, when it is played back it delivers the flickering effect you see.
