Is there a way to make the entire button a colour when UP and a slightly different colour when down (pressed)

I have had to stop using Daslight 4 for the same reason, constant crashing. I was running the entire show off midi files from audio software and loopbe. The switch over time from Editor to Live screen (8-12seconds) was also an issue especially as the show got bigger. Loading the show file took well ...

s soon as edit / live button is clicked I do get "Daslight is not responding " message whilst the files witches over, is this normal?

yes this is happening with all effects , it might be because my file is very large.

Creating an effect nothing appears on the fixtures until the clock timer is altered.
I think this is a bug.

so I am running july 12 the edition of software
my laptop is an i7 and fast normally.
but loading my show takes 1 min 24 seconds.
changing between edit and live takes 12 seconds.

is this normal.
I have 306 scenes.

Switching between modes is very slow when the interface is not connected (up to 5 seconds)
as soon as the interface is connected the switchover is instant.

Is this normal?

How do I edit a fixture then reload it over an existing without loosing all the programmed data for that fixture?

OK so after a lot of experimenting. Download NCH mixpad. Download looperbe. In mixpad import your sound track. now in the next track down create midi (this will insert a clip 6sec) expand (drag) to full length of music track. In top track tab, select audio options for track, select MIDI playback opt...

Am I right in saying I can use Audacity to create a midi code send track, which using looperbe. Could run a Timecode control for scene buttons?

If so how do I create the midi audio control codes. To enter into Audacity.?

You can do a timeline by using a second timing scene, that strts at the beginning of your scene list for that group and times till the event , then jumps to the scene required.

It is a work around, but it does work as long as you start all the timing scenes at the same time.

I think all the 128 range of products from Daslight have restricted features. But the gold range as far as I can tell in stand alone mode can only access one scene at a time. A real pain I know. and there is no work around but to program complete looks.

is it possible on any of the architectural range to play back more than one scene at a time?

yes. use the fan option at either 25 % or 50%. alternatively create scene generator for first 2 heads. create an identical scene generated effect for the second 2 heads but reverse the direction. now create a keyboard shortcut for both scenes using the same letter. start the scenes at the same time ...
