Merge (append) scenes

I want to use various fixed position scenes to create steps in a new scene (eg one scene movers facing forwards and the next backwards) I gather in daslight 4 you could select two scenes and it would append one to the other giving 2 steps. This doesn't seem to be available in daslight 5. Is there a ...

Upgrading

I have the older dvc fun and have upgraded the software to 1 year of express mode for daslight 5. If I now want to upgrade to full do I have to pay the full price or does it take into account the fact that I already have express? Likewise, if I decide to purchase a lifetime licence within the year, ...

Alternating colour effect (carousel)

Hi I am looking to create an alternating colour effect like the carousel effect in Light Rider (m). Is there an easy way to do this? As far as I can see, I will have to just manually set the state for each fixture (or each beam.of my battern) and create manual steps, which will be pretty tedious!! I...

Alternating colour fx like carousel in lightrider

Hi Please can someone tell me how to create an alternating colour fx in daslight rather like the carousel fx in lightrider (m) The only way I can see to create this is to manually create steps, which will take forever setting the faders with batterns! I'm sure I must be missing a built in programme ...

Fixture grouping for showtec pixelbar batten

Hi

I want to create groupings for my pixebars eg pixel 1,3,5,7,9,11 in one group and pixels 2,4,6,8,10,12 in another. However, even if I only select one pixel for the group, it seems to select the whole fixture. Is that correct or am I missing something?
Thanks

Points Move fx - enter point values

Hi

I am setting up a point move FX and want to enter specic x and y values. Is there a way to type these in rather than rely on moving the point with a mouse? Thanks

Re: Making scene with multiple steps using other static scemes

Sorry, obviously wasn't clear I have various position stored as scenes in two groups - pan positions and tile positions. For example, in the tilt positions group I may have forward, up backward. In the pan positions I may have 0, 90, 180 and 270 degrees. I now want to use these to create various oth...

Re: Stacking and reversing an effect

Thanks. Good to know. I have been accepted into alpha testing and am just waiting for my link to the alpha testing forum so I can start testing it!

I presume I cannot actually output dmx with the old interface tho?

Stacking and reversing an effect

Hi I want to create two circle movements for moving heads but want them symmetrical. The easiest way to do this is to reverse pan and tilt on the fixture. However, that just makes programming the other scenes more difficult. I read that you can stack two effects and reverse one of them. I have two q...
