Another thing you can try is ... If you only use the RGB portion of the fixtures and non of the other channels/functions then you can patch them all as 3 channel RGB fixtures, just make sure you put them in the right starting address, so for example if you 7 channel RGB fixture uses the 3, 4 & 5...

I've tried any version of dvc2 I got: from the CD, any version I've found on m inclusive latest beta. My system is a fresh WinXP SP3 with all patches available installed. The dmx...

Re: So then,

We have two Siudi 5a's. Are you saying that we need to send them back for Windows 7 upgrades? They seem to run fine on Vista, which is the first version of 7. Thanks.. Mike If it is the 32bit version of Windows 7 then all should be fine. If it is the 64bit version of Windows 7 then you will need to...

the solution is to have a blank scene in the group and when going between editor and live mode always leave editor on a blank scene. Full agree with what Richard has said in his post and I do what he has mentioned above, just remember to go into the editor and select that scene before starting you ...

I have all 3 of the Enttec wings, I will get the Enttec MIDIwing software and give it a go, I can't promise anything, anytime soon as extremely busy with my new job and other activities. As DVC2 does not offer many option in the way of handling MIDI signals and what you can do with it, so I am not s...

Try un-installing the program and deleting anything left after it has been undeleted. If you can find and remove the drivers for the interface via the control panel etc. then do so. Run a registry cleaner, a free and good one is called Eusing regcleaner. Get the lastest version of DVC2 from website,...

Try using the INVERT option on the real fixture.
That will sort it out for real, then you might need to tell the software to invert.

DVC3 will have some more MIDI functions and a grand master, but it probably won't include every feature with this desk.

Re: Competition for the Behringer MIDI Desk?

This looks interesting... m It most probably is a nice piece of kit, but in reality of no use for DVC2 as it does not have a Grand Master or Blackout or easy ability to control channels via sliders and also allow those channels to be used in scenes. Oh well we can dream of these things appearing in...

Daslight interface does not work with Sunlite Suite. Sunlite interface does not work with DVC2. He is offereing y...

To do what you want you will need a media server and a lighting control program that can use that.
Daslight DVC2 is not and has not been designed for that.

You need a full not an eco version of the 3D simulator, which is dependant on the interface you have, and then you can convert objects from 3DS and then import them.
