Re: Preset
+1 Presets (sometimes called palettes) are very common on professional consoles. Mostly they will put a reference to the preset in the scene instead of a 'real' value. This is very powerfull because when you change the preset, all scenes will use this changed preset too. This makes it very easy to, ...

Re: Daslight and Light Par Led 36 problem - doesn't glow
Try to adjust the DMX output settings in Daslight (HardwareManager). Sorry to say but these Ebay LED fixtures are sometimes cheap en poorly designed and not always receive DMX signals correctly.

Re: App Crash when programming
Yes, same here. My experience is that it mostly occurs during programming. The crashes are totally unexpected, not related to a specific function. Just be sure that you save your work frequently and pray that it will not occur during a live session .

Re: live mode: independent waiting time?
However we are no longer adding features to Daslight 4... We have many other projects in the pipeline so realistically we not going to release Daslight 5 for least a couple of years. So you mean this is it? I was really hoping that DVC4 was still under development because there are still so many fe...

Re: virtual dimmer
+1
A virtual dimmer channel is one of the most-wanted features on my wishlist too.
I don't think it will be really difficult to implement (I'm a software developer too), but I can't speak for the makers of course...

Re: How to assign a MIDI trigger to a show button? (triggering multple scenes)
Hi TomHat, Thank you very much for your quick reply. I know that it is possible to directly assign a MIDI trigger to a scene, but I guess a scene can only have one MIDI trigger assigned... So using it this way the scene cannot be assigned to other midi buttons anymore. I actually was looking for a c...

How to assign a MIDI trigger to a show button? (triggering multple scenes)
I would like to activate multple scenes at one time using one button. I guess the only way to do this is adding a button in the Show tab and associate the scenes to it.
How can I add a midi trigger to this show button? or is there also another way to archive this?

Some ideas and suggestions for DVC4
Thank you for making the DVC4 software. I recently bought a DVC4 interface to use it. I have some ideas and suggestions for DVC4 that I would like to share: 1) It would be really nice to add a dimmer-slider per group. In this way you can easily create submasters. I know that is already possible to a...

Re: EasyView 2 Crash with GeForce GT 540M
Thank you very much for this solution. I had the same problem with my GeForce GT 550M/PCIe/SSE 2.
