We've been using Daslight 4 and the DVC fun for a while now, including several Daslight updates. The April 2019 update now gives us a nag screen in English about upgrades every time we start the software, which we've set to French. How do we get rid of it permanently please? You say "if there is no show running" it sends an [all 0], so if Daslight were to have a setting allowing us to tell it to turn on to a default show and preset then it could send that info rather than the [all 0]

Hi, we are using an old computer and sometimes it freezes or crashes and has to be rebooted. Most of our LED fixtures are set to hold on loss of DMX control, so the lights don't go out... not until the computer has restarted and Daslight restarts that is. I moved over to the computer we're actually going to use for the job and it works OK. I never needed to find out the actual problem on the newest of our computers that meant daslight wouldn't work, so sorry I can't tell you how I managed to sort out the problem.

Worked it out for myself. The colour macro problem seems to be related to the fact that Daslight always assumed the colour macro slider to be in use whether beam on or beam off, so it had to be manually turned off even for beam off channels. I still don't know where the ADJ 12p Hex problem came from...

Tried it on another, older imac. Managed to patch and start to learn the software. When I closed daslight the computer froze.
Was also running propresenter at the time.

Thanks, but I don't have any of the listed apps installed. I don't have any window management apps installed either. I do have exactly the same crash problem. Could this be caused by splashtop streamer? Or the fact that I'm just testing the software on its own to see if we want to buy a dmx interface?

Do you have an updated list of the software that causes this bug, or hints as to the type of software that causes this bug please?

So you're saying, for example that I'd have 71 channels blocked off and unusable even if I'm only actually using 21 channels? I can't, say, assign channels 1 2 3 to RGB for fixture 1 and then assign channels 7 8 9 10 11 to intensity RGBA and upwards to the next fixture and so on.... different amount...
