I tested in the latest official release and the problem remains. The application stops responding no matter what I do. I tried reduce the memory used by removing most of the scenes and groups in a copy of my file. But the memory was still in about 400-500 mb usage for daslight and stopped responding...

I wonder that too.

Since we are using D4 for lightshows in church We don't want anyone to edit the shows and it would be very helpful if being able to start D4 in showmode only by sending command line arguments to the exe file. Example: DasLight4.exe /showonly and for force readonly for any opened file: DasLight4.exe ...

I also want the possibility to add titles, borders. It would be great to and comments/descriptions as well. Using the Show mode to make it easier for (almost) anyone to run a lightshow in church on the "light controller pc" and having border, titles and descriptions would make possible to ...

It works ok for me except for then saving or when generating effects.
I often get not responding when saving.
When generating effects for LED fixtures or Moving Heads I get crashes after some time in editing and have to restart the D4 application.

I have lots of groupers in my edit/live modes which casues lots of scrolling. The minimize of scene buttons makes it easier but it would be great if being able to combine multiple groups into separate pages. The fixture group buttons getting are always minimized then I open my files in D4. It would be great it the application remembers (eg. saves) the state (minimized/maximized) fixture group buttons for the 2D view.
The custom naming of these buttons says more than 1, 2, 3..which is shown then minimized.

It would be very good if showing a simple error message such as "something went wrong, do you want to send an error report?" and then be able to continue working in the application. Currently the exceptions are fetched by the operative system (Win10), and entire D4 stops working so I have ...

Is it possible to change triggering mode for all scenes in an entire group? For example by rightclick on group title in the LIVE tab. It would be nice to assign triggering mode to the buttons in SHOW as well, for example being able to have same scene with one button for music triggering and another ...

The new transparent grid when selecting an object in easy view 2 beta is just annoying, where do I turn it off?

The visualizer, when chaning color for an object it opens below but there the screen ends so it gets hidden, would be better to open above if the color picker doesn't fit on the screen.
