Re: Daslight 4 randomly closes
Is it possible to save crash reports and send them later? Usually I am not online with my MacBook during a Show.

Re: Daslight 4 randomly closes
I got the same problems. Random crashes which are not reproducible. Had last weekend a six hours show with four crashes inbetween. One crash for example happened in the moment where I switched from one fixture tab to another (at the bottom of the screen). This software is far away from stable. Edit:...

Re: virtual dimmer
I have a similar problem and It would be great, if there would be the option for a virtual dimmer. Or does anyone has a solution for the following situation: I've got eight RGB PAR-Cans in a row. Now I want to create a scene group in DasLight 4 with colors (single colors as well as color effects) wh...

Re: More than 512 Channels

Re: Logic Pro X - Midi Trigger (?)
Short answer for Mac: 1) Open Audio-MIDI-Setup -> MIDI-Studio (cmd+2) -> IAC-Driver -> tick "Device enabled" and add at least one port (name it DasLight or whatever) 2) In Logic: Create external MIDI track -> Select the Port from 1) and select channel 1 as output 3) In DasLight: Preference...

Re: How to setup a dimmer channel for RGBW fixtures?
I cannot see how this could work. What happens, if only one color channel is up to 100% for every fixture, like the red color and I move then the (virtual dimmer) MIDI fader from 100% to 50%. I think that all other three channels (GBW) would jump up to 100% and then go down with the fader to 50%. Ot...

See all MIDI assignments?
Is it possible to see all current MIDI assignments and edit them from there? Like a list where I see the MIDI CC and what fader(s) or functions it is assigned to. I had the problem last show, that I accidentally configured a color channel of fixture A and a dimmer channel of fixtures B to the same M...

How to setup a dimmer channel for RGBW fixtures?
I have 12 RGBW fixtures with no separate dimmer channel. Is there any possibility to create a virtual dimmer channel, which is also assignable to a MIDI fader? I tried the "general" fixtures tab, selected my 12 RGBW fixtures and used the virtual dimmer channel from the palette. That works,...

BUG: Assign MIDI-Fader to 2nd universe
I tried to assign some RGB faders to my MIDI controller via right click onto the fader. Everything works fine with fixtures in the first DMX universe. When I try the same with a fixture in the second universe, the setup works, but nothing happens, when I move the hardware fader. By the way: I moved ...

Bug: Crash on level meter effect
When I try to create a level meter effect in the current beta on Windows 7, Daslight crashes. I could reproduce the error by creating a new project, add 10 generic rgb fixtures and select them all. Now, when I select pixel effect, as soon as I click on level meter in the drop down menu, Daslight cra...

Send MIDI-Signal on beat
Hi there! I linked a hardware button (NI Traktor F1) for the BPM-Tap and it works as intended. With every tap (button press), the button flashes due to the Daslight MIDI feedback function. Question: Is it possible to send this MIDI feedback continuously, so that the hardware button flashes with the ...

Re: Override/Zones Functionality
I think that this behaviour could be achieved by implementing a "lock" mechanism. I am asking for such a feature since Daslight 3:
I want to set a fixture/beam to a specific value and then lock it. Until I unlock it, this fixture/beam won't be changed by anything.
